The training and development activities of FAIDD offer a variety of options to support professional training and development. These help service providers to develop their personnel and operations to better meet the wishes and needs of their clients.

The training and development services produced by FAIDD comply with the criteria of the national recommendations on continuing professional education in social welfare.

FAIDD offers assessment services for the evaluation of, for example, service structure, service quality and the functional capability and quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities.

The educational services include national and regional training and discussion events, working seminars, customised training, consultations and coordination of quality development and other development projects. We specialise in process-based training events focused on the client work practices, which our customers put to direct use in developing their own operating models.

FAIDD is also engaged in many other development projects, mainly carried out with financial support from Finland’s Slot Machine Association, for developing new operating models, service forms and products.
