Training
At the beginning of 2025, FAIDD’s training services were transferred to its own subsidiary (Saavuta Asiantuntijapalvelut). However, FAIDD still organizes study days, themed events, training related to the development of operational models, as well as various free events and informational sessions.
Saavuta Asiantuntijapalvelut offers training for professionals in the field of disability services and teaching, and to all those who work with people with intellectual disabilities and/or communicative impairments. It also organizes training for creators of communication contents on e.g. easy-to-read language and accessible web services.
It realizes customized training packages in such focal areas as, for example, learning new practices, updating knowledge in work communities, developing services or specific questions relating to customer work.

All our training services can also be commissioned as consultation and training packages customized for the customer’s own work community or some other group.
We organize different events on timely themes in the field of intellectual disability as well as study trips. We work together with managers, support workers, service designers and developers, and people with intellectual disabilities and their close ones.
